Additional Property Attributes

A recognized environmental condition was identified on the subject property based on the historical records reviewed. Sanborn Maps provided by EDR indicated the subject property was used as an automotive-related facility since at least 1949. Painting was also indicated on a portion of the property. The City Directory and the owner interview confirmed this use through the 2000s. The site reconnaissance identified two and possibly three in-ground hydraulic lifts in the main maintenance bay of the building. These are considered recognized environmental conditions due to the potential they may have leaked and impacted the soil beneath the floor of the main maintenance bay. The building structure could possess lead-based paint and/or asbestos containing materials, based on the fact the building was constructed prior to 1981. De minimis staining was observed in several areas of the building.

Former Use: The site has operated as a tire store and auto repair facility since at least 1980. In-ground hydraulic lifts were installed sometime in the 1980s. The current owner has owned the property since 1989 and worked at the facility for 10 years prior. The building has been vacant since 2006.
