The Canal Plaza site is located near the Delaware and Raritan Canal and across the street from Battle Monument Park, a historic site commemorating the Battle of Trenton during the Revolutionary War. Also located in the Canal Banks Homeownership Zone, Canal Plaza includes 22 newly constructed units designed to complement on-going improvements in the Zone related to the complete redevelopment of the Battle Monument neighborhood. The Canal Plaza homes are low, moderate, and market income homes, and the project also includes community open space.

Former Use: This site was developed in approximately 1918 as an industrial dairy and remained in operation until 1976.
