Additional Property Attributes

The property was identified by the City as a truck route designed to divert traffic around the City's central business district. Plans for redevelopment include roadway development as a "complete" street to include pedestrian and cycling pathways. Redevelopment is pending grant funding from the Federal Highway Administration and the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

Former Use: The property is an abandoned rail line that runs from Downtown Hattiesburg and intersects U.S. Highway 49, south of the City.
