Additional Property Attributes

a Phase I ESA and Phase II ESA have been completed on this site. The contractors CRW Engineering (MT) conducted the work, and reports.

Former Use: This Property was aqquired by the Chippewa Cree Tribe in part of the Congressional Act of 1916. It was developed into an Ag. project in the 1970's for the Tribe. Involing mainly Wheat and Hay exports later on getting involved in the cattle industry. Although it is owned by the Tribe there were different Tribal and Non-tribal persons that managed the Property through out the years.
