Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Based on a review of available historical data, the subject property has been developed and used almost entirely as a lumber yard with various storage warehouse buildings. Residential dwellings have also been present throughout the development of the subject property as well. The immediately adjacent and surrounding properties have been used historically for mixed purposes, including commercial and residential. Increased commercial business development began occurring by 1930. Commercial businesses located adjacent to or in near proximity of the subject property historically have included various other lumber yards, coal storage areas for the railroad, Frontier Mill and Elevator Company, Crystal Ice Company, Gem Coal and Fuel Company, a tire and battery service center, bakery, a sign printing business, auto repair and machine shops, and jewelry/time shop. The railroad has also existed throughout the history, parallel to the western boundary, of the subject property.
