Additional Property Attributes

Current city park (baseball field, greenspace, playground, walking track). Previously utilized as dump that was filled in early 1970s. Property donated to City in 1974. Prior to 1974 owned by Townsend family. Brownfield committee did not approve Phase II ESA. Per MDEQ letter dated 9/26/2014 "even though the MDEQ cannot issue a No Further Action letter for this site, it has no ions to this property being developed with the understanding that 1) based on available information, MDEQ cannot determine whether this site is contaminated, and 2) MDEQ does not generally make geotechnical recommendations for site building suitability."
