Additional Property Attributes

The site was developed as a hospital beginning in 1923 and used as such until at least 1972, then converted to apartments and used in this fashion until 2010. The apartment building (36,924 square feet) and associated warehouse (1,930 square feet) are currently vacant. A heating oil tank likely is or was present on the property; while not a REC, should a tank be discovered during renovation/demolition, it should be closed in accordance with applicable laws and guidance (NDEQ, State Fire Marshall). Proper sampling and management of lead-based paint surfaces impacted during renovation, and abatement of asbestos-containing building materials prior to renovation/demolition of areas that would disturb asbestos-containing building materials are recommended.
