Property Highlights

Property will be re-developed for additional parking for Jefferson Playground. Parking is currently only available by crossing a busy two lane road with traffic in both directions. This parking space will eliminate the need for folks to navigate crossing the road to get to and from the baseball and track field.

Former Use: Property is a small portion of an original lake to river French land grant for a Plantation type settlement. This .83 acre portion is now squeezed in between the Jefferson Parish Water Works and the Jefferson Playground. It consists of an asphalt and rock driveway and a metal shed, which over the years has housed various small businesses including car repair and storage.
