Additional Property Attributes

The site was occupied by a commercial building planned for demolition as part of the Stadium Drive expansion. The Phase I identified on-site and off-site RECs and the Phase II identified chlorinated solvents in the soils and groundwater on the western portion of the site above TRRP Action Levels, but the eastern portion of the site the City purchased was not detect for VOCs in the soil and groundwater. An asbestos survey was conducted and the identified asbestos containing materials were abated prior to demolition.

Former Use: Historically, the site consisted of vacant land until 1970, when the current on-site structure was constructed. The site has been occupied by Oil State Warehouse, EVAP, Inc. (automotive A/C), Sailor Boy Products and Warehouse Services (1984-1987) and most recently by Battery Repair. According to Mr. Troy Williams, the on-site manager, the current battery repair facility has been located on-site for several years.
