Additional Property Attributes

Shady Brook Mobile Village is within Ellensburg's city limits next to the Fairgrounds. Commercial and residential properties make up the neighboring sites. The County is planning on purchasing the dilapidated and blighted properties to expand development of the County Fairgrounds to include green space and recreational camping.

Former Use: Based on information from a title search for the property, prior to the current use as a mobile home trailer park the property was used for residential purposes with one commercial property, a bar. The current owner, Jerold Barton, purchased the property in 1976. Over the years, Mr. Barton added another building as a self-serve coin operated laundry facility with public showers. Mr. Barton also added several sheds in the southeast portion of the subject property for storage purposes.
