Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Phase I ESA was conducted in the Town of Lusk at the Stagecoach Museum Property which is located at 322 South Main Street in the NW of the SW , Section 8, Township 32 North, Range 63 West in Lusk, Wyoming (Site). The Site currently consists of an approximately 0.55-acre lot which contains the Stagecoach Museum. The Site was formerly used as a National Guard armory from 1927 through the mid 1960s. In November 1969, the armory was no longer in use and the National Guard leased the building to the Niobrara Historical Society. Multiple buildings consisting of the Stagecoach Museum and associated outdoor museum exhibits and an open yard are currently present at the Site. This investigation was conducted exclusively for the Board of County Commissioners of Niobrara County, Wyoming on behalf of the WDEQ in an effort to identify any recognized environmental conditions (RECs) at the Site. Based on information provided by Ms. Becky Freeman, County Clerk for Niobrara County, Niobrara County plans to continue to use the Site for the Stagecoach Museum
