Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site consisted of undeveloped land until the mid-1890s, when a small bottling works was constructed in the southeastern corner of the property. By 1902, the H. P. Thorn Lumber Yard had begun operations at the Site. The Thorn Lumber facility expanded and constructed additional buildings at the Site through at least the 1960s and through its history also included a coal yard and a Redi-Mix cement plant. Thorn Lumber continued operations at the Site until 1994. With the exception of the All Nations Outreach Center, the Site buildings were demolished sometime between 2011 and 2013, during the construction of the Raleigh Street Extension.
