Additional Property Attributes

Geokon purchased the former Lebanon public works annex property where sand/salt storage was located in addition to a wooden storage structure to facilitate the construction of a new 23,000 square foot office building with 35 offices and a training facility for company expansion.

Former Use: The site is a former public works garage and storage facility that has been owned by the City of Lebanon since 1938. It was used by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation until 1980, and was then used by the City of Lebanon as an annex to their public works garage at 20 Spencer Street, for the storage of miscellaneous equipment and substances, including truck attachments (plows, sanders, etc.), as well as diesel in underground storage tanks (USTs) and aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), and bitumastic emulsion (paving asphalt) ASTs. It contains two roofed, open-sided pavilion structures and an elongated, single story, single bay garage. The site is no longer in use by the City of Lebanon Department of Public Works but is in use for cold storage by the recreation department. An activity and use restriction (AUR) is in place on a 2,845 square foot section on the north side of the site, in the location of three former 1,100-gallon bitumastic emulsion ASTs, and is the subject of ongoing groundwater monitoring for ambient groundwater quality standards (AGQS) exceedances.
