Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property currently has seven (7) buildings ranging from approximately 96 to 1,164 square feet in size, which were constructed between 1960 and 1985. The oldest of which appears to be a tool shed (according to Sheridan County assessor records). Assessor records also indicate that there is a residence on site, a garage, and four equipment sheds. The southeast parcel included in the subject property is currently in use as a rental property and as a place of storage for vehicles and vehicle parts, various appliances, old farming equipment, machinery, wood, drums, scrap metal, tires, and other miscellaneous materials. The northwest parcel included in the subject property is vacant and is primarily occupied by Goose Creek and its surrounding shores. The current owner of the property is Lamar Selig. Petroleum and hazardous materials were witnessed on the subject property during site reconnaissance although, records were not found regarding these materials on the subject property. Multiple vehicles, vehicle parts, tires, wood, various appliances, unmarked drums, motor oil, hydraulic fluid, old farming equipment, motorcycles, scrap metal, and various miscellaneous scrap material were observed to be stored on the subject property during site reconnaissance. Drums, tires, and wood were observed in piles along Goose Creek. Used oil was observed to be primarily stored in small plastic containers, plastic drums, and 5-gallon buckets. Hydraulic fluid was observed on-site, stored in 5-gallon buckets. The subject property contains vehicle parts and drums or other containers of fluids stored under conditions that are either indicative of a release, or present a material threat of release to the environment and constitute a REC. The property is not a VRP/VCP site.
