Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site currently consists of an approximate 0.52-acre, irregular-shaped parcel of land, which is utilized as a parking lot by the City of Auburn since 1999. Remaining portions of the Site include gravel driveways, overgrown vegetation and limited landscaping. The Site formerly operated as a commercial and residential property and was previously improved with at least four multi-story buildings, prior to 1886 until 1999, when the final Site building was demolished. These former Site buildings were occupied by an armory, a bakery/grocery store, a cobbler (with attached residence), a commercial plumbing business, and a machine shop. Additionally, a former Site building and the southern portion of the property was also utilized as a municipal storage lot for the City of Auburn Parks Department.
