Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Currently at the site there is a waste oil collection facility built between 1998 and 2001. Overall the facility comprises three bays with locking roll down doors, waste handling singage, and collection tanks and drums within the 550 square foot building. The facility is organized for the collection of used motor oil, engine fluids, and other potentially hazardous wastes generated by the community. Drums, fuel cans, and other potentially hazardous materials have been left outside the facility despite no dumping signage. The propertys use prior to the 1970s is unknown. The site has been used as an informal, unpaved vessel, vehicle, and fishing gear storage area since the early 1970s when the fishing pier was constructed. The waste oil collection facility was built between 1998 and 2001. Drums, fuel cans, and other containers of potentially hazardous materials have been left outside the facility outside of hours of operation despite no dumping signage. Some of these containers have leaked or been spilled during handling as evidenced by surface staining. There may also be legacy sources of contamination from its previous use as a staging area. .
