The property is located in downtown Louisville in a mixed use area that includes commercial and municipal properties. The surrounding properties currently consist of commercial properties to the north, east, and northeast, a church to the south, a library to the southwest, and a funeral home parking lot to the west. The property is bounded by South Church Avenue to the west and by West Park Street to the south. Historically, a store with gasoline tanks was located just northwest of the property and a pressing shop/dry cleaner was located further to the north of the property. The property is currently developed with an approximately 18,000-square foot brick, concrete, and wood building located on the central portion of the property.
