Additional Property Attributes

Sweet Grass Cenex was a former gas station. It was cleaned up after the EPA assessment using funding from the Montana Petroleum Fund (Petrofund). The EPA assessment was used as a co-pay for the petrofund. The property is now being developed into a brewery.

Former Use: The site previously operated as a corner Cenex Gas Station. In 2017 the new owner had all tanks and tank system removed to repurpose the site as an office and brewery. During removal of the tank system a petroleum release was discovered. An assessment was completed and the assessment funds were leveraged as a co-pay to clean up the petroleum contaminated soils.
