Additional Property Attributes

The Kickapoo Environmental Office, on behalf of the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas, hired Tarracon Consultants to conduct a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for the property located at the Tribal Tract#10 in Horton, Brown County, Kansas.

Former Use: The site is located on Tribal Tract #10 near Horton, Kansas. The site is approximately one acre with no improvements. The site is currently unoccupied. Based on review of the historical information, the site has been undeveloped land since at least 1894. According to Luke Terry (previous Kickapoo Environmental Director), the site has historically and currently been used as a junk yard/open area, open dump. According to the Brown County assessors, the site is owned by the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas.
