Additional Property Attributes

The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI) wish to place the property in trust with the Bureau of Indian affairs and have leveraged $6,893.22 towards the completion of a Phase II ESA. A SSQAPP was submitted to MDEQ and EPA for review and approval on March 30, 2020. Phase II ESA field activities occurred from May 4, 2020 to May 5, 2020, and the Phase II ESA report was finalized on June 17, 2020. Additionally, the ACM survey was performed on May 6, 2020, and the ACM report was finalized on May 27, 2020. On July 15, 2020, the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality issued a letter stating that MDEQ approves of the recommendation that no additional assessment in relation to the identified Recognized Environmental Concerns is needed at this time.
