Additional Property Attributes

The Site encompasses 512 Ash Street, formerly the Bertsch Property before being acquired by the DDA in 2018.

Former Use: The buildings are currently vacant but were historically used for various commercial purposes. The Targeted Brownfields Assessment (TBA) recipient intends to redevelop the Site for mixed uses that could include retail, restaurants, commercial, civic, and residential uses. The site was historically a fertilizer plant. Current building uses house an office and a warehouse space containing overhead garage door parts. Much of the site has been cleaned up of debris and trash over the past several months. (512 Ash - railroad until 1990s, then Bertsch Family--> commercial uses)
