Pathways Shelter for Homeless does an excellent job assisting so many families in the Yankton area and are planning to expand the Shelter to meet the growing need in the community. The property was used as a motel from 1935 to 2015. From 2015 to the present day, it has been used to provide shelter to the homeless. Proposed construction in the west lower level will increase the capacity for shelter beds, the basement renovation is expected to double the capacity for the shelter.
