Additional Property Attributes

This site consists of four parcels. Three of the sites have conditional NFAs that went into effect after a notice of residual petroleum was filed with the county clerk and NCDEQ UST Section - Raleigh Office for each parcel. The fourth parcel is not impacted. The impacted parcels are 420 S. Douglas St., 422 S. Douglas St., 305 S. Hines St. The unaffected parcel in the assemblage is 400 S. Douglas St. The site has historically been used for bulk petroleum storage beginning in 1938 with USTs and ASTs and operations ceased in 1999. The easternmost parcel was residential, followed by a tobacco warehouse and later an ice cream factory. All parcels have been vacant since 2000 and all structures were demolished by 2012 and all ASTs removed.
