Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is located at 403 Main Street in Bayard, Nebraska. The legal description of the property is Lot 11, Block 3, South Bayard Addition, Bayard, Morrill County, Nebraska. The subject property is located in the southern portion of the City of Bayard. The property is located in a commercial area on Main Street and is surrounded by commercial properties. There are no streams, ponds, lakes, etc. on the property but the North Platte River is located approximately 1.7 miles south of the site. The subject property consists of a 3,500 ft2 lot (as indicated on the Morrill County Assessor website) which is occupied by an unoccupied brick building that covers almost the entire lot. The site has historically occupied commercial businesses, most recently a thrift store. At the time of the site visit, the subject property was being used for storage and had items left from the thrift store inside. Utilities are provided by the City of Bayard but did not appear to be connected at the time of the site visit. Gas service did not appear to be on during the site visit either, but a natural gas furnace was present in the building.
