The Property consists of two parcels of land (Carlton County Parcel ID Nos. 06-510-3780 and 06-510-3790) totaling 10.97 acres developed with a storefront and residential buildings on the southern portion along Big Lake Road or County Road 7. The Property was developed with buildings on the southern portion by at least 1939 with a filling station and storefront present on the southwestern portion from the 1940s or 1950s until the 1970s or 1980s. The Property was then used for residential purposes until 2009 when it became unoccupied. The surrounding land use is generally listed as Residential or Rural Vacant Land. Fond du Lac Creek is located approximately 0.2 mile northeast from the Property.
