Additional Property Attributes

The Three Affiliated Tribes Environmental Program applied for a TBA Phase II ESA for the Site through the EPA's Region 8 Brownfields program. In summer 2022, EPA conducted a hazardous materials survey at 12 properties owned by the Fort Berthold Housing Authority, which plans to demolish and replace the residential units or remodel the units. The Phase II was conducted to evaluate if lead-based paint (LBP), asbestos-containing material (ACM) were present. Additionally, previous notifications have indicated potential methamphetamine use in some of the housing units as well as water damage resulting in mold growth. No contamination was found at this unit except for some mold.
