Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is currently owned by R & R Vermont Management LLC. The site is developed with a 12,000� square-foot (sq. ft.) building which is currently vacant and most recently occupied by a Walgreens retail store. The remainder of the parcel is improved with an asphalt parking lot. The subject property is in a commercial/industrial area of St. Johnsbury. Prior to the construction of the current subject building the site contained residences, sheds, stables and various business including a livery, feed & sale stable, tobacco shop/cigar factory and a bakehouse between approximately 1889 and 1927. Based on the records reviewed as part of this Phase I ESA the original L-shaped portion of the current on-site building was constructed between 1927 and 1943. This portion of the site was used for Gilman Bros Garage from approximately the 1930s to the late 1950s. Residential listings and other businesses continued operation on the subject property during this time period and included offices, grocery store, plumber, gas company and gift shop. In 1961 an addition was built onto the subject building resulting in its present-day configuration. Between the 1960s and present day offices, grocery stores and pharmacies were listed for the subject property.
