Additional Property Attributes

Site assessment identified presence of PCE in indoor air, soil and groundwater likely associated with former dry cleaning activities at the site. Remedial action undertaken in 2004 to mitigate risk posed to occupants of commercial building from exposure to chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs). A sub-slab vapor extraction system was placed into operation on March 16, 2004 with funds provided from the NHDES Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund. Confirmatory sampling and analysis of indoor air has verified that CVOC contamination is not present in indoor air above non-residential screening levels derived from the NHDES Residential Indoor Air Assessment Guidance Document. The site is currently occupied by a laundry and a number of small businesses. Groundwater monitoring ongoing under a NHDES issued Groundwater Management Permit to assess nature and extent of CVOC contaminant plume.

Former Use: The property is the location of a former dry cleaning facility operated by former owner from approx. 1965 to 1996.
