Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property operated as a gasoline filling station and convienience store from at least 1936 until the late 1970's when gasoline operations were abandoned. The original building was located on the subject property from at least 1936 until the late 1950's when it was moved and relocated. A portion of Building 2 was constructed at this time, and an addition was constructed to the west of Building 2 in the 1960's, which became the convienience store and later the used merchandise store. One structure was identified on the western portion of the subject property in the 1953 and 1964 aerial photographs, however AKT Peerless was constructed in 1981 with an addition constructed in 2002. This building is now occupied by an auction house. This building operated as a single-family residence and used merchandise store in the 1980s and 1990s. Three USTs were removed from this property in June 1996. The subject property was vacated in the late 1990s until 2002, when it was renovated by Doug & Jean LaFoille for use as an auction house.
