Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site is currently underutilized (currently a motorcycle accessory distribution center) and consists of a rectangular-shaped parcel predominately occupied by two cinder block buildings that appear to be constructed at different times. A larger building occupies most of the central/east central portion of the property and the smaller attached building is occupies the northwest portion of the property. A small grassy area is located along the north side of the Site and gravel is located in the southwest corner of the Site. Most of the windows and doors are boarded up. Railroad tracks are located immediately south of the Site. The Site was originally residential property until approximately the 1940s. In the 1940s the Site was listed in the City Directories as Fogle Bottle Company. Starting in the 1950s through 1979 the Site operated as various plating companies. Although no City Directory listings are available after 1979, property ownership records indicated plating operations through 2006 (Williamson Polishing & Plating Corp).
