Additional Property Attributes

The cleanup included an engineering barrier in the form of a parking lot. The Toledo Business Technology Center contributed to many eligible and non-eligible costs. Also, during the cleanup, many building facades and some other parking lots were refurbished. There are 31 businesses that employ over 400 people utilizing this property. One company is planning to expand and there are 3 training centers in this business park that use this new lot.

Former Use: This property was predominately grass covered land with scattered trees. The northwestern portion of the property was developed as a playground. The southwestern portion of the property was occupied by a gasoline station, automotive services station, and a taxi service. The northwestern portion of the property was occupied by six row house dwellings until 1972 and then left undeveloped. The eastern portion of the property was occupied by a playground until 1976. An alley has divided the eastern and western portions of the property.
