Former Use: The property consists of an approximate 4.5-mile inactive railroad right-of-way. It is located in the western portion of Ashburnham between Route 101 (Gardner Road) north and the Winchendon, MA town line. The property has historically been a railroad right-of-way for the Boston and Maine Railroad. Railroad activities have ceased at unknown time in the past and the property has remained undeveloped. No indications from past use as a railroad were identified.
