Additional Property Attributes

This site is owned by the Community Energy Project, a local nonprofit that assist elderly and low-income community members with weatherizing their homes. CEP purchased the property after environmental assessment and abatement were completed in the mid 1990s. Subsequently the contractor, REA, was disbarred (1999) and DEQ recommended a new site assessment in 2005 to verify that environmental issues do not remain. The assessment, made possible by the EPA assessment grant, verified the remediation, and now CEP is moving forward with site repairs to make the facility more accessible to disabled visitors.
