Additional Property Attributes

The subject property was historically used as a filling station. There is no indication that former USTs were removed and/or that any investigation or closure activities have taken place. The City had attempted to contact the property owner to purchase the property, but the owner was not very cooperative.

Former Use: At the time of the site reconnaissance the subject property consisted of one parcel consisting of a paved parking lot. The subject property was developed with residential dwellings as early as 1887 until at least 1913. Information obtained from review of historical Sanborn maps indicates that a filling station was present on the subject property starting sometime after 1913 and ending by 1951. Sanborn maps from 1951 and 1972 depict the subject property as developed with a commercial building and an auto sales facility
