Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site is located in the southern portion of Nashua, NH and is situated to the west of Lawndale Avenue, south of Stevens Street, east of Salmon Brook. The site consists of a rectangular, undeveloped, land-locked approximately 0.5-acre parcel of land. The site includes forested upland area that is situated just east of Salmon Brook and an associated wetland area. A small walking path provides direct access to the site from Stevens Street. Site topography is relatively flat with little relief for the majority of the site, while the western boundary begins a steep slope downward to the wetlands and Salmon Brook. Based on available records, the Site has been developed and continues to be undeveloped since at least the 1940s. At least a portion of the site had been cleared in the mid-1960s for an unknown purpose. Between the mid 1960s and early 2000s, the clearing gradually became re-forested and is now moderately to densely wooded. Residential development along Lawndale Avenue existed as early as the mid 1960s. The site has been owned by the Estate of Alta Shattuck since 2005.
