Additional Property Attributes

The site is located in the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 33, T26N, R1W IM. No indicators of environmental contamination were observed at the site. A record search of state and federal databases for the site and within a 0.5mile radius of the site did not indicate any regulated facilities. The City of Tonkawa plans to develop the land into an industrial park.

Former Use: The site is undeveloped. The site has historically been open grassland. The site currently has a newly developed asphalt road providing access to the site and a drainage system leading to a water rentention pond. The site is bound to the east by a drainage ditch and is separated from a residential neighborhood to the southeast by a chain link fence. Commercial properties lie to the north of the site. The property was transferred to the City of Tonkawa by the Salisbury Family Partnership on May 5, 2005. The property was then tranferred to the Tonkawa Development Authority by the City of Tonkawa. The property is currently in the early phases of development as a commercial business park. The property was undeveloped as far back as 1937.
