Additional Property Attributes

No asbestos, lead based paint found, additional characterization needed for soil and ground water. Peteroleum related contaminants persist in soil and groundwater. Groundwater does not appear to be migrating. Further investigation will be conducted to determin whether the petroleum related contamination in the vadose zone poses a risk to off-site residences.

Former Use: Formerly a gas station service station and is now a storage facility. "Alliance Medical, Inc. and the Russellville City Council are in the early planning stages of converting this site into a city park. Alliance Medical has applied to the Brownfield Assessment program because there is a fear of contamination in the old concrete building and surrounding soil at this site. Past uses of this site include medical warehouse and service station from unknown time until 1984. The concrete building is described as ""usable."""
