Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Fonda/Solo Company formerly owned this manufacturing facility which was used for the manufacture of paper products, including, but not limited to, paper plates, food pails, paper cups, and food trays. The facility included three attached buildings. Building 1, constructed circa 1938 is the original portion of the facility and contains office space, cafeteria, production area, and loading dock. Building 2, constructed circa 1954, is comprised of a production area and printing area. Building 3, constructed circa 1957, is comprised of production and paper shredding areas and warehouse space. Building 1 was subdivided from the other buildings subsequent to purchase by the City. Building 1, at 21 Lower Newton Street, is the property discussed in this proposal. All buildings and property have been vacant since 2006.
