Additional Property Attributes

This assessment has revealed no evidence of any recognized environmental condition in connection with the property. The completion of this ESA will assist in future redevelopment of the site, primarily for commercial uses.

Former Use: In 1959, a commercial structure occupied the northwest portion of the property. Located next to the commercial development was a small parking lot. The property south of the commercial structure was undeveloped with the exception of a small storage shed occupying the southeast portion of the property. City directory searches indicated Holsum Bakery began operating from the subject property in 1959 until 1963. Between 1963 and 1968, Disabled American Veterans Salvage Retail Store began to occupy the facility. Holsum Bakery returned to the facility in 1968. Between 1968 and 1973 the facility was used as a Alcoholism Reception Center. The property was vacant from 1978 to 1983. From 1983 to 1988 the facility was used as a center for Employment Training. The Training Center discontinued operations in 1988. Between 1988 and 1993 Pima County Re-Entry Center began to operate at the facility. Between 1993 and 1998, Co. Jackson Employment began operations from the subject property. From 1998 to 2003 Pima County operated the facility. Jackson Appointment Center began operations in the facility between 2003 and 2008. In September of 2009, the structure located on the subject property was demolished and the property is now vacant.
