Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Electro Treatment Inc. Facility is located in a generally flat desert area with sparse vegitation. The facility was constructed by Firestone for research and production of latex rubber from the guayule plant. Firestone ceased operations at the plant in 1991 and it remained unoccupied for five years. Beginning in 1996, Electo Treatment Inc utilized the property for the custom treatment of mine tailings for extraction of precious metals via cyanide leaching until 2001, after which time the operations ceased. The property is owned by the Gila River Indian Community.
