Additional Property Attributes

The site has been reclaimed/remediated by consolidating lead shot wastes underneath the bike walking trail onsite. The site has been re-vegetated with an engineered cap covering the trail. An Environmental Covenant has been placed on the site where waste was capped. The State of Colorado assisted the city of Salida with a grant of $65,000 to assist in cleanup costs. (PPF - Salida Gun Club)

Former Use: Pasture and agricultural land use. Gun Club was built in 1971 and operated until the 1980s with sporadic use thereafter. Afterwards, the property was left unused.
