Additional Property Attributes

The BTA was conducted for the City in response to environmental uncertainties associated with the property. The Chamber of Commerce is actively marketing the property with the goal of job creation for the local economy. A "Recognized environmental condition" REC associated with the BTA property was identified as the following: gasoline release associated with former onsite UST's. the release was intially discovered in 1990 during a Buried Tank Leak Assessment. Excavation was conducted by a former owner and the site was considered "resolved" in 1994. However, information in the BTLA indicaes the potential for contamination to still exist on the property. Based on information collected during the Phase I, it is recommended that Phase II activities be conducted at the Property due to the identified REC.

Former Use: Egg production, distribution center, and storage facilites. A UST spill occured in 1990.
