Additional Property Attributes

The BTA was conducted for the City of LeRoy at a property that is the proposed location for the LeRoy Community Center. The proposed project entails construction of a 6300 square foot community center that includes a storm shelter to accomodate up to 200 people. Leveraged funding includes 500,000 CDBG and City matched funds of 219,800. A REC was identified as: petroleum from a gas station located up gradient from the site. The Phase II consisted of collecting groundwater from 5 locations on the property. No significant environmental impacts were found. The site has been cleared for redevelopment. A REC associated with the BTA property was identified as the following: a gas station located up gradient from the site. Based on information collected during the Phase I, it appears that the All Appropriate Inquiry was obtained with no significant data gaps. It is recommended that Phase II activities be conducted at the Property due to the identified REC.
