Additional Property Attributes

The BTA was conducted for the City of Riley to evaluate hte property, which they are acquiring. An Asbetos Survey Full NESHAP was also conducted in conjunction with the Phase I BTA to identify suspected asbestos containing materials ACM, which is required prior to demolition activities. The proposed project entails demolition of an existing building at 115 S. Braodway, which was a former Laundromat, and the construction of a free standing pre-engineered metal building to be used for a new City Library/Community Food Basket building. Leveraged funding of 400,000 through the KanStep Grant is proposed for the project.

Former Use: Commercial property since 1956. Previously used as a laundromat and post office.
