Additional Property Attributes

The site was originally developed circa 1880 as a Cider Mill and has been used for industrial purposes ever since. Over the last 100 years or so, the site has been occupied by Oliver Brother�s Cider Mill, Oliver Brothers Manufacturer of Brass Bedsteads, Jefferson Union Co.,Richmond Manufacturing Co., Harbison Brothers, Inc., and most recently Kohl Cycle and 71 Gooding Street, Inc., a motorcycle salvage yard. The site is currently abandoned and has been condemned by the City of Lockport.

Former Use: The site was originally developed circa 1880 as Oliver Brother�s Cider Mill. For over 100 years the site was used for industrial purposes including Oliver Brothers Manufacturer of Brass Bedsteads, Jefferson Union Company, Richmond Manufacturing Company, Harbison Brothers, Inc., and most recently by Kohl Cycle and 71 Gooding Street, Inc. as a motorcycle salvage yard. The City of Lockport acquired the site in 2008 through involuntary tax foreclosure. An arson fire in July 2013 destroyed the site building. The property is currently a vacant field.
