Additional Property Attributes

758 acre abandoned ranch being used for recreational purposes. Main house, bunk house, sheds, small open dumps on approximately 1 acre cleaned up, demolished, and disposed of in appropriate landfills. Two structures remain on approximately 1 acre. Property now safer for recreational and future reuses.

Former Use: The property is primarily pastureland fenced and open wooded areas. A small portion at the northern end of the property is developed with a gravel road, two residences, several outbuildings and corrals. The main residence was constructed in 1935. The post and beam wood barn structure and sheds were probably built around the same time. The bunkhouse appears to a mix-match of poorly constructed additions from the 1930s through recent years. The newer wood-metal roof barn/garage is probably less than 50 years old. The area was used for sheep grazing and developed for ranching in the 1930s. There have been several others and the Tribe purchased the ranch in 2006.
