Additional Property Attributes

The BTA was conducted for the property owner with County support to evaluate a property that is proposed for expansion as a mobile home park. Based on information collected during the Phase I report, it appears that All Appropriate Inquiry AAI was attained with no significant data gaps. "Recognized environmental conditions" RECs were identified in the Phase I report as: hazardous substances and petroleum products associated with: a former septic lagoon and discarded metal piping from an oil field service company on the property. Phase II consisted of collecting soil and/or groundwater from 6 locations on the property. Manganese was detected in the groundwater above KDHE RSK levels. The manganese detections have been referred to the KDHE Site Assessment program for further assessment and source identification. The owner was recommended to file a Use Control on the property.
