Property Highlights

The Old Planning Building Property is located in the heart of Fort Yates, ND, near the local school and across the road from the Missouri River. The property burnt down in spring 2010 and a TBA was conducted later that year to determine the levels of asbestos and lead in the debris. Results confirmed lead and asbestos in the debris. Given the site's proximity to environmental and human receptors, the property was referred to the Removal Program and they cleaned up the property in December 2010. The site is now open space and is ready for reuse.
