Additional Property Attributes

The former Paschal's Center was an important meeting place for Atlanta Civil Rights leaders in the mid-20th Century. Prior uses on and next to the site range from dry cleaners to gas stations. The hotel, restaurant and conference center eventually fell into disrepair. Clark Atlanta University, a Historically Black College and University, now owns and secures the vacant building and parking lot. The City's Brownfield program provided a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) in 2011 to help future redevelopment efforts.

Former Use: The property is developed with a single story restaurant building which is attached to a six-story motel building. The building is currently vacant and has not been in use since 2004
