Additional Property Attributes

BTA conducted for the City of Derby to evaluate a property, previous utilized as a public works facility. The property is proposed for redevelopment as a riverfront park. RECs were potential petroleum and hazardous substances associated with: historical operation of a wastewater treament plant on the property, historical operation of a firing range on the property, histrocial operation as a public works maintenance facility on the property, salt deposit staining observed on the property during the reconnaissance, and a 500 gallon waste oil UST abandoned in place on the property. Due to the identified RECs, further assessment is recommended to commence.

Former Use: developed in 1952 as wastewater treatment plant pistol range from 1970 - 1997 public works facility from 1970 - 2010
